JAB Safety Heights & Lifting Inspections

Lifting equipment inspections help to ensure your business is compliant and ready to perform.

At JAB, our qualified inspections help you stay audit-ready, reduce risk involving employees, maintain operational efficiency & meet Australian lifting standards through reliable scheduled services & detailed compliance reports.

Heights & Lifting Inspections at JAB

Whether it’s harnesses or rigging gear, every lifting component must comply with Australian Lifting Standards AS/NZS to remain safe and operational.

JAB are here to help keep your people protected and your business compliant.

Visual inspections should be performed before use and the formal inspections mandated by Australian Standards every 3-6 months.

Failing to inspect can lead to serious incidents, liability issues, and non-compliance penalties.

Our inspection services assist in ensuring your equipment is safe & certified for use through detailed documentation/reports & automated scheduled inspections.

Lifting Items We Assess!

Harnesses, Lanyards/Fall Arrests, Anchor Points (AS/NZS 1891)

Chain & Slings - e.g. Flat Synthetic , Round Webbing, Chains & Steel Wire Rope (AS 1353/ 3775/3776)

Chain Blocks (AS/NZS 1891)

Lifting Fittings - e.g. Hooks, Swift Lifts, Shackles, Spreader Bar (AS 4991, AS 2741)

What Happens After Inspection?

Upon completion of our inspection your equipment if safe will be returned with:

  • An inspection tag attached to the  equipment indicating next inspection date.
  • An inspection report detailing the results of the inspection via email along with the next inspection date that will be rescheduled for you.

If one of our heights & safety inspectors determines that your equipment is unsafe, expired, or otherwise unfit for use, it will be tagged out, quarantined in a designate area.

Ongoing actions regarding the final handling or removal of such equipment should align with your internal asset management procedures.
